susandennisI started working on the crochet sweater again today and decided that I really did not like it enough to finish. I was not yet to the half way point and I was sick of it. So, I checked with the boss - that would be me - and the boss reminded me of the special magic of knitting and crocheting... you can always rip it out and make something entirely different.
So I'm unraveling the whole thing. Although I was not at the half way point, I had done enough so that unraveling is not that trivial a task... I've got about another six inches to go.
Then, I think I'm going to possibly use the yarn for a variation of this:
My plan is to add extra stitches in the back to give it the effect of a swing coat. We'll see how that works out.

Today is Amira the whirlwind cleaner day. She's supposed to come about 1:30 but she's never made it close to that yet. Usually, though she's here by now. However, she has trained me to see her when I see her and not much before that. So I stress not.

We continue to have a sunless cool day and I continue to love it. The thermometer on my terrace says 72 and the one here next to my chair says 76. Perfectly reasonable in my book.
Work is slow today so I think I'll unravel some more.
