Easy on the eyes...

susandennisAbout a week or so ago I was having horrible eye issues and googled up a tip about maybe my eyes were slit open while I slept and the ceiling fan was sucking all of the moisture out of them they whole time I was in bed...
So I started sleeping with a night shade - they kind they used to give you on airplanes. In fact, the one I am using has a Northwest Airlines logo on it.
Talk about a miracle fucking cure! I'm not kidding. My eyes are so happy they are very nearly dancing in the aisles. When I wake up in the morning, it takes an extra blink or two to get them going but before the night shade it was taking about 25 extra blinks and about 3 minutes of pain to get them going. Pain all gone.
And, during the day, no more itching, no more red lids, no more pain, no more strain.
A-frickin-mazing. And I am sooo grateful.

I was all snotty and snickery at the various news reporters last night as they reported on the Denial of Service attacks. I heard two local and one national reporter (yeah, I watch way too much TV news) pronounce Live Journal as if the e got stolen. Liv Journal. Those whacky journalists.

I need milk and bread and I got a whole lotta holds at the library so it's time for a road trip.
Chef Tom's meals continue to delight. Tonight may be leftovers or may be beef bourguignonne. He had some extra beef bourguignonne gravy that he left in a bowl and I had it over the meatloaf and mashed potatoes the other night. Outrageously yummy.
