Friday afternoon off with retail therapy

Now, how in the world can you beat a Friday afternoon off with retail therapy??? My friend, Sue, and I left work and went up to Nordstrom's sale and I bought 2 pair of shoes. I couldn't decide between them so I just bought both. We had this very young and ever so eager salesman. Sue, who rarely buys online was telling me 'isn't this instant gratification better?' I wasn't agreeing but he picked right up on it and asked me if I shopped online. When I told him that I nearly always do he whipped out his card and said that if I found anything I wanted to buy at Nordstrom.Com, to stop and call him and he'd get it for me and pay the shipping charges. Works for me. So now I have a new best friend at Nordy's - Matthew.

The weatherman promised me clouds and rain and temperatures no higher than 70 degrees today. He is a low down dirty liar. But, now I am home and in the shade and getting cooled off.
