susandennisThe bloody was excellent again. The breakfast was good - not mind blowing good but good. However, the rest of the experience was all even better.
The hostess told me that the table I like is called 7. 'Next time you come in, just ask for table 7.'
The eavesdropping was wonderful. I can hear two tables well from 7 and still enjoy the light jazz music in the back. The out the window watching which I usually share with Twitter checking, was totally interrupted today with the nice hostess asked me if I wanted a newspaper. She said she had the Seattle Times and the New York Times. I told her to surprise me.
So I got deeply engrossed in the New York Times. What a treat!
I really love that place. And, I also like that it is a nice bit of a walk. Not too far and not too close.
Today the 'hood was jammed with Yankee fans. Half were from out of town. The out of towners are easy to spot because they have no clue that they can get a ticket for jaywalking. The general manager of the Detroit Tigers got one when there were here last week. And... in Seattle, when you walk when the Don't Walk sign is flashing... that's considered jay walking, too!
The cops are totally missing a fat revenue stream this morning.
Time to get to knittin'!
