Whew - accomplishments, I haz 'em

susandennisThe funds got wired. I got everything signed. Theresa, the bank lady, is happy and I am, too. My debit card and credit card and checks are all ordered. My paychecks have been rerouted. I'm totally getting there.

I sent some shoes back the other day and they instantly went missing. Thankfully, we have a FAB new UPS guy who is chummy chummy with Scott the Building Manager and so I'm not at all worried. It was last Wednesday and the UPS guy had a sub who, apparently, fucked up muchly that day and not just my package. I left Doug, our new guy, a note this morning and told Scott. Scott reported back that Doug is all over the case and if we have to 'investigate' he'll testify. BUT likely the box is on the way and just not yet swiped into the system.

I picked up my holds from the Library. They will be closed next week. And the cute little librarian said 'you sure two movies will hold you til we come back?' I assured him it would.

Stopped at the grocery and got the goods for twice baked potatoes. I've got 3 weeks til Chef Tom returns so I'm looking out for myownself. I'll make a dozen this weekend and freeze 'em.

Now I have actual work! for the first time in days. I have until Monday but I think I'll get it out of the way now.
