Snot update

I think I am done blowing my brains out.  Sleeping was not great but not terrible.  My head still feels like an overloaded melon and my teeth still itch. And now I have a very nice croupy cough to go with it all. It is a good thing I am never sick because I have no talent for dealing with this crap.  kjaz says Dr. Jack's in jail so no longer making house calls, but if this cold does not get substantially better by tomorrow, I am going to see if he at least has office hours.

Today's my early in/early out day.  And I'm ready for a three day weekend.  My latest new housecleaner is scheduled to come Saturday or Monday (I think he's leaning towards Monday) and I'm already having doubts about him.  But, we shall see.

Work is kind of challenging.  There aren't a lot of people here but those who are here seem to all be in EMERGENCY!!! mode.  I love being a contractor.  "I'll get to your emergency as soon as I finish his..."  Fortunately, my manager gave me clear playing rules... z trumps y every time.  x needs to be handled before w, etc.  I'm crystal, baby.

I know that feeling when you're busy at work. It's wonderful to know exactly what order you're supposed to be handling all the crises. :)

Nah. I don't do allergies. It's a plain old every day cold. It will be gone next week, replaced by a cough that will last another week. It will only seem longer because I promise every LJ entry will be whining about it!
