I did have a nice, long walk to brunch. Sansa has this thing they call SlotRadio. It's $50 for 1,000 songs in radio style. I bought the oldies. It comes on a micro card you slip into the player. It has 'channels' which ware for different kinds of oldies. You select a channel and just hit go. It's like listening to am radio when I was a kid only without commercials or a dj. It's perfect for me. I turned it on this morning and bopped down the street to music that was comfortable and familiar. I know some of the songs but not all of them. I can't image who else besides me would want this but I sure do like it.

At the next table at Boka were two couples - not yet 30. Cute. Asian but clearly American born and raised. From the conversation, I ascertained they both had children at home. The girls were in their Seahawks finest. Nails expensively manicured in blue and green Seahawks colors. They all had really nice, expensive haircuts. Their conversation was fun and lively and interested and all four participated. When they finished eating and paid the bill, the girls handed the guys their shopping bags and told the guys they would see them when they got home from the game.
I love eavesdropping but sometimes the droppees are boring or sad or irritating. Today they were interesting and fun.

The Mariners are playing in Texas and, apparently, they are working on a flood recreation in Texas so the games (a double header since Friday's was rained out) have been postponed.
