Seems reasonable. Maybe I should arrange to inflict myself on new Hampshire again and go visit some friends, they'd probably prefer CA in late November though.

Oh, I'm so glad to hear you think it sounds reasonable. It seems so expensive to me but then it's been something like 3 years since I've paid for any airfare anywhere. My last trips have all been on frequent flyer miles. Which reminds me, I need to look up my Delta Frequent Flyer number... hmmmmm

It's about what I paid last Thanksgiving and Memorial Day to go from Oakland CA to Manchester NH and that seems like a similar trip. I went via Washington on the way out one time but other than that went through Chicago. If I'd waited to nearer the day I could have got better prices but not better times, I took the red-eye and that effectively gave me an extra day both times.

Yeahbutt I really don't mind...I'll be so happy to get out of Charleston that I'd be willing to hop a kite. And the other options (even other airlines) meant going through Chicago, Pittsburgh or Philadelphia (snow) or Dulles (security hassles).

I didn't know that! It's been years since I've flown on Delta, it will be an interesting change from US Airways. They sure had the best combo of price, route and schedules!
