I bought a bus pass for the month of July.  I thought at the time... if I lose this sucker, I am SOL.  And then this morning, I thought... I should get a sticker with my name on it and tape it to this sucker cause if I lose it, I am SOL.

I am SOL.  Sometime between the time I got off the bus this morning and the time I got ready to leave this office today, I lost the damn thing.  $73 down the drain.  The bus cost $2 a trip so the pass doesn't even save you that much and even less if you lose it on the 4th working day of the month.  Stupid, stupid, stupid.  I'll check around the office tomorrow but I'm not holding out hope.  Stupid, stupid, stupid.

I have this little clip on clamp thingy that I put on my work id, because I kept losing it and I can't get into a lot of plants without it. I have to be "escorted" by somebody and that is like the ultimate embarrasement. So I got this little hook thing and now, I clamp that sucker on the inside of my purse on the zipper where you put secret stuff.

If you find it - you could try something like that. It would easily clamp on to your purse, pocket or belt loop or even the zipper of a wallet. I'll send you a handful of them if you want.

You are so sweet. Thank you. Here's how sad this whole thing is... I have a card key, too. And it is on a clippy thing that I clip to my pocket. I thought about attaching the bus pass to it, too but it needs a big oval cut and I didn't have a big oval cutter. In hindsight, I could have cut the clippy thing to stick in a hole punched hole. Duh.

I'm not always brilliant but I'm really very rarely this stupid. On the up side, my ass has enough padding that all of the kicking of it I've been doing for the last couple of hours has not left a bruise.

Crossing my fingers for you that you may have left it, or dropped it near your desk at work. If you have good housekeeping staff at work, perhaps they have found it and will place it on your desk for you. Hope so!
