Somedays I should just be a tester

susandennisIn my day to day work, I use several different tools and platforms. If I have A pages, I use one set of tools if I have B pages, it's another set, etc. Today there was (and, actually, still is) a boat load of stuff to do covering nearly all of the tools and platforms.
I started in on one giant set and hit a snag - one of the tools needs a tweak before I can use it. So I went to the next set of stuff. One of those tools was being dog slow and kept throwing errors. Sent a note to the support guy who said he's check it right now. On to the yet another set and bam, the major tool for it kept asking for my credentials.
By that time my laptop was acting like it was hung over. Clearly reboot time. So I did. Did not go well. I finally got all of the errors fixed and got a clean reboot and then could not get RAS in! I rebooted the router/modem.
It was one fucking thing after another fucking thing! I managed to get some work done anyway but it was not easy. There is still plenty to do but I had to recode the last page 3 times cause I kept doing it wrong so it was clearly time to quit for the day. It will be here early in the a.m. and I will too and, hopefully, without my break shit underpants on.

I got my replacement knitting needles today. $4 shipping - ordered Saturday arrived Wednesday. I likey and I love it when they throw in a little sumthin'. Today it was little stitch markers. It's Jimmy Beans Wool. And they will get my business again.

The Mariners had a nice little win going but I think they feel sorry for Tampa Bay so it looks like they are going to give them this game. Parting gift. Swell guys.
