People in the stands!

After watching the stadium across the street go up now for more than two years, tonight, for the first time, I can sit on my couch and see people in the stands! The stadium holds 70,000. Last weekend they had a soccer game but the upper stands, the ones I can see without getting off my ass, were not open. Tonight they are open and it's such a kick to see people up there.

There is no game tonight - just a public practice but there are bands playing and stuff going on. It's quite the event and people are still pouring in. First game is next Saturday. That should be interesting.
