Today's adventures so far

susandennisI had a little bit of work work which I did and finished and waited for more but no more came so I was out the door. Amira was coming to clean today since she had car trouble on her regular day. I didn't know when but I would rather be out of her way when she's here so I took a shot.

ljtourist introduced me to and got some yuca chips and some of the peppermint taffy that I had tried last time. Then it was on to Geraldine's. Every person with a small child in the county decided to have breakfast at Geraldine's this morning and I briefly pondered on alternative but I got a table fairly quickly and was soon remember why my tastebuds insisted on Geraldine's.
I didn't get my nails done because by that time I knew (thank you, web cam) that Amira was here and would be done by the time I got home so I took a leisurely trip home, stopped at Uwajimaya for eggs and cream and then here I am. And my house is sparkley, shiny.
The bill for Travis' license was in the mail. So using my old lady discount, I re-upped the kid for another 2 years - online, thank you.
Now I'm ripping two library books that are due on Monday and then it's off to the chair, the knitting and doing some TiVo cleanup!
