Living alone Part 2

susandennisI love that so many of you understood part one. This is really just an addendum which I think is interesting in only that the subject, apparently, did not leave my mind as intended...
I went to get my hair cut. To the new place. Which is now My Place. First off it is a fun place. Open, not fancy with great eye candy from the hair products in fancy colors to the art on the wall which, I learned, is different every month. There is no pretense, no fancy schmancy. Just nice.
Ken got me and he did a great job. No, no pics. I tried and couldn't get a good one but mainly just know that this morning, my hair looked liked the last time I had it cut - way too many months ago - the hair cutter was clearly concentrating on whatever was on TV instead of my hair. Now, my hair looks like I spend a lot of time and money to make it as nicely casual looking as it is. Perfect. You might have noticed my hair this morning because it was so awful. You probably wouldn't notice it now at all.
Plus, I had to practically beg Ken to sell me a hair product. It was only when I swore that the only thing I had at home was cheap hair spray that he conceded there may be an issue and sold me a small bottle of stuff for texture and hold. And he gave me a great head massage when he shampooed me and now I think I probably did not tip him enough.
The reason this is Living Alone Part 2 is NOT because I farted while he did my hair, but something he said during hair cut chit chat... he told me this morning that one of his cuttee's had told him 'Do you realized, you are the only human who ever touches me?'
Of course the massage lady touched me and well, actually, that's about it. I guess I'm a pretty touch free zone. Ruth Massage and Ken Hair.
It's not that I crave touch. I'm not even a big hugger but interesting, none the less.
And, just because I rarely have a thought that I don't share... I don't think I've ever had my hair done by a straight guy before. And he spent a lot of energy from kids pix (with ex wife) on his station to his haircut chit chat ensuring I got the message that he was wearing his straightness. He was hip but he was straight. Funny.
