• When I got up to feed the cats their dinner, I thought 'gee, it's a little chilly in here, I think I'll close the patio door. How surprised was I when I discovered it was closed! Sweater weather!
• I now have a nice pile of recipes all ready for discussion with Chef Tom on Wednesday.
• One of our two NPR stations finishes its pledge drive tonight - thankyoujesus!
• I love Brian Thompson. Ann Curry grates on me in that nails on a caulkboard way.  I wish TiVo would skip the record when she sits in for him.
• I can't think of anything I need at Costco but I'm going tomorrow anyway. Maybe cat food.  Maybe kitty litter.
• I think it's very interesting that so very few shows of the new fall TV season have been canceled.  Usually by now, there are several dead bodies floating around.  Seems like there are more stinker shows this year and fewer cancellations.  That's so not good.
