Old people

This morning on my walk over to the bus stop, I passed two guys older - not elderly yet but creeping up on it. They were pushing suitcases and wanted to know how to actually get into the train station to buy a ticket. Although we were on a little bridge that goes over the tracks just at the station, it is difficult to figure out where the station door is. So I showed them. "You just go down those steps and follow that white line there right around the corner."

They were very grateful and headed off. One of them spotted the elevator and said quite cheerily "oh I'll take the elevator since I'm old ... 53 this week!"

Bite me old man... you are 2 years younger than I am.

You seem a wee bit testy here. I've always gone on the theory that old people are 15 years older than myself. Of course I've modified that a bit and changed it to 21 years older. The fact that Sarah is 20 years younger than I am has nothing to do with this change. I firmly believe rock'n'roll keeps me young...true I have less hair, can't see for shit upclose anymore, and other things don't work as well as they did but I feel the same as I did when I was 20. As for the 2 guys you saw they should probably be put out of their misery.
