Home again...
Oct. 31st, 2009 01:57 pmI did all my stuff and got a little exercise and now I'm home.
I was in a section of town where it dawned on me today that there is really no good way to know if these people are dressed for Halloween or dressed as they normally do. I stopped in a grocery to get bread and in the bread aisle there was a college student talking to her doctor on the phone describing her disgusting symptoms. Nice.
ruralrob would have loved that.
One of the many lovely things about living where I do is that when you are out in some random neighborhood, you can easily find a bus home. Any bus with the destination 'downtown' will do nicely. I got on one today and went a whole new route and ended up 4 blocks from home. Quite handy.
I am definitely going to discuss breathing with the cute man doctor when I go next time. Panting is just not that lovely.
Now I'm home and have a load of laundry in. I sat down at the desktop and started upgrade preparations. I decided not to do it today but I did the Easy Transfer thing and gathered links and registration keys to my best software. Maybe tomorrow.
I think I'm going to use the rest of this afternoon for knitting and watching some TV - like the rest of The IT Crowd.
