All is now technologically under control
Jul. 21st, 2004 09:30 pmAnd I know you've been worried. I did, in fact, get the second Tivo successfully programed into the old remote. And I'm very happy with the results. Two Tivos, one Comcast digital box, one DVD/VCR and one TV all nicely set up in my 5 year old Sony universal remote. You got to admire a piece of technology that holds no grudge against you for trying to replace it.
I've wanted that Harmony number for a long time now. I'm glad I got it and found out I don't want it and got it out of my system.
Next up... pick up all the installation crap and put away all the bits and pieces that I didn't use. I'm all set now and happy with the results.
And... speaking of happy... at the risk of possibly jinxing the outcome, the Mariners are going into the bottom of the 7th and they are ahead??!!! Oakland 3, Seattle 5 and they got it fair and square. Nice.
