estis has a web cam that must look both ways! I just read that he has his cam on so I flipped over to see what he was up to and besides him and the faithful Scooter, I see a note saying Hi Susan! Maybe he can stretch it out until September 10 but that will be it. The end. He is getting a full time regular employee in to do the work I have been doing. He wants me to train the new person - he'd better get 'a hiring! I'll be kind of sad to leave but I'm not opposed to taking a bit of time off. Luckily, I've been living off of half what I've earned so I've got the other half and unemployment benefits for a while. Soon the next job hunt begins...

She doesn't feel terrible enough to go to the doctor, but, she doesn't feel good. I know she can't last forever but hopefully she's got a few bon mots in her yet to go.

Hey, maybe that can be my income for a while! I have a couple of monthly subscription fees to be refunded, the $30 refund they promised and the refund on the extra box I ordered and then, at their instruction, refused delivery. I'm also trying to get a stupid RMA number from Overstock.Com so I can send this remote back but I think Overstock must have changed hands or corporate culture. They used to be so good to deal with. Now they are just being annoying.

But, I've also gotten a string of un air conditioned buses lately so maybe getting off and walking home in the shade is a better deal anyway.

I've now watched two episodes and I like it a lot. Sunday nights, I think. I've recorded the Dennis Leary show about firemen on USA but I haven't watched it yet. I've recorded The Grid but haven't watched it yet either. I have two episodes of Nip/Tuck yet to see and an episode of The 4400. It's luxurious to have non-reruns in the Summer.
