It's a fort ... in the living room!!!

susandennisI'm getting ready to start a pattern bear. This is where I get it going and then photograph the various stages of the knitting so that I can illustrate the instructions. As long as I'm going to write it down, I might as well do it right and make it a full real pattern with pictures.
I fished out a large piece of muslin fabric this morning and put it over the ottoman so that I'd have a good background for the photography. It drapes to the floor on three sides and I just left it that way. Then I noticed that Travis had gotten one of his toys from the bedroom and was batting it in and out of where the fabric hit the floor.
All day long now, he's been under there or out and going back in and playing with toys - popping them out and then retrieving them and taking them back under the cloth.
He is hilarious. Totally hilarious. Now he's napping - in his fort.

It's a slow day here work wise which is ok. I'm pretty used to slow by now. I did finish up all my tax stuff and sent it off and it's nice to have that out of the way.
Chef Tom was supposed to come tomorrow but moved it to next Monday so I'm out of food. I think tonight I'm going to let McDonald's feed me one of their Giant delicious swiss cheese and mushroom burgers. With fries. I need to pick up a library hold, too. So towards dinner time, I'll make a fast run to the grocery/library and stop off at McD's on the way home.

My eyes are not as good as they were last week. Or they don't seem that way anyway. I now need the readers more than I did. But I am making sure to use as little magnification as I can get by with +1.25's. My far sight is still fabulous. It's just the close up that's the problem now. I'm still collecting data before I go to the eye doctor in April.

New Netflix coming today and I'm pretty sure it's a lame chick flick that I not only saw before but couldn't even make it all the way through. All of the movies I really want to see in my current queue are marked Very Long Wait or Long Wait. Annoying.
