Hoping for a between the leaves view...
Feb. 18th, 2010 06:21 pmThe Front Door TV Network cam went wonky again this afternoon. It only takes a nudge to fix but Scott wasn't around to nudge so I used the free time to do some research. I finally ended up buying the simplest of setups - a camera and a receiver for the TV - from x10. (http://www.x10.com/cameras/xx11a_s_k_ps29.html#88680.46b0) From now until July, I should be able to get a good shot of the sidewalk below the terrace. After the leaves come in, it might be kind of dicey... We will see.

Chef Tom hit a home run this time. Always before, and even with the first chef, there was always one and sometimes two dishes that were either not good at all or just only so so. This time, every single thing he made is delicious and there are good parings - side dishes with main dishes and two that are good for lunch or dinner. Perfect. And delicious.
I did get an email a few weeks ago from that first chef (it was a one-note-to-many) saying she was going out of the chef biz to concentrate on social media. No comment.

I did not get any cat food today. I've got enough to probably last a day or two but I think I'm going to get serious about getting more tomorrow. No sense in pushing it. I'd hate to have these two report me to PETA.
