Spring is here
Feb. 19th, 2010 09:20 amTravis is, again, taking a living room sun bath but today, he's not snoozing. The Tree That I Hate is full of chirping birds and he is very busy giving them the stink eye. I'm pretty sure they are chirping 'hahahaha neener neener you can't get us!!'

As you might imagine, my knitting needles are pretty important to me :). I use a fairly expensive kind - two needles attached by a wire. In the biz they are called circular needles. Yesterday the wire snapped from one fo the needles - so not good. The good news about these expensive needles is that they are guaranteed for life - my life. I just drop it into the mail and I should have a replacement early next week. The bad news is that in the interim, I'm having to use my backup needles which aren't as good. UNTIL... last night.... I remembered that once a while back when I was flush with cash, I bought a spare of the good ones!! Yeah, me! I dug them out and ahhhhhh it's smooth knitting once again. Thank you, me!

It's road trip time again this morning. Back down to Renton to Ikea and Walmart and Popeye's chicken. When I was last in Ikea, I bought some incredibly cheap silverware that, turns out, I LOVE. So today, I'm going back to get more. The box held 4 place settings and I keep running out of forks and knives. Then I'll get the cat food at Walmart and a hook for the bathroom and then circle through Popeye's for lunch. The sun is out but, hopefully, it won't be in my eyes - Renton is due south of here.
---
Front Door TV Network fixed itself last night. Whew.
---
The first baseball game of the year (Spring Training) will be on the radio in only a week and a half. I am ready.
