susandennisMy brother and his wife got back to Mom's tonight. They are there for the weekend. My sister and her crew get there tomorrow night. Say it with me now:
Mom is good. I talk to her every couple of days. This morning she sounded a little sharper than she has before. She was still thinking she's going to go back to her apartment tomorrow which is really not going to happen. When she said that I asked 'but, if they won't let you, you're ok with staying where you are for a while, aren't you?' And she said 'oh yeah'. She's thinking that she doesn't want Polly to do so much because 'I'm just getting tight with my money.' I assured her that if she gets tight with Polly, I'm invoking my financial power of attorney. Polly charges about 1/3rd of what she should. Mom has the $$. Geesh.
My crocs didn't come yet. They are coming via USPS so maybe tomorrow.
Tomorrow, I'm actually going to leave the house! Yep. I'm going to go to an arts and crafts show - The Best of the Northwest. I haven't been in years. I hope that it is as it has been in the past - beautiful things to look at that are way too expensive to even be tempting. That's what I'm hoping. They have moved it to a place that is relatively easy to get to by car and has parking. Quite an adventure for me. Heck, I might even buy gas. That tankful I bought last March is running low. I'm guessing I used half and the other half evaporated.
The Mariner game is on. Dinner is cooking. It's getting cooler. It's Friday... life is just good.

Date: 2004-08-20 06:24 pm (UTC)Geez Louise. I put gas in the car this morning, then spent most of the day on the road running errands. I bet I drove over 200 miles today easy. The gas light came on again as I pulled into the subdivision. I took your share and then some!!!
