Sunday morning
Jun. 6th, 2010 12:55 pmI did my park a mile away trick this morning for the Skylark. It was drizzly but hot and muggy and not that comfortable. It reminds me that my days of walking outside are getting ready to take a Summer break.
Then I went on to a big village kind of mall and parked in the very corner and walked to Radio Shack where they did not have the stuff I wanted then to Target where they kind of did and so I bought (telephone headphones) then I saw Staples on the far end of the place so I went over there where they had closer to what I wanted and way cheaper and then to the grocery store and then back to Target to return the headphones I didn't want and then back to my car.
I was a solid wet hot sweaty mass of yuck. So I cranked all the windows down and played convertible all the way home.
---
Normally, when I eat alone in a restaurant, I take reading material. A magazine or a newspaper or my iPad but today I went with only the EVO and it wss just perfect. I had Pandora while I walked and then news from around the world to read (with any size font I want) and it was just fine. It will be even finer when Kindle gets their android app done.
I am really really liking this phone. It just make sense to me. And it's a joy to be iTunes free.
---
Now I am home and doing laundry and picking up stuff. I need to make some quiche muffins for breakfasts, finish the laundry, watch the ballgame, watch CBS Sunday Morning and I think I will do that extra credit work thing. Why the heck not?!
Oh and I also swapped emails with Chef Tom about the next menu. He's coming again two weeks from tomorrow. I should have the freezer cleaned out by then and be oh so ready. His menu sounds delicious.
