Disoriented
Aug. 23rd, 2004 12:56 pmWhat a very strange morning I had. I think I kind of woke up in the very early morning with breathing problems. But, I'm not really sure. I remember being kind of awake and unable to get comfortable. This morning, my shoulders are really sore and it does kind of hurt to breathe (but that's rapidly going away - the hurt, not the breath).
Then when I did get up, it was really dark out. It's that time of year but, still, it's disconcerting. The difference in morning light between last Friday and this morning is considerable.
Then it was kind of chilly - which was wonderful but strange.
Then at work things were just off - in some cases, only a pixel or two but in some cases it took serious concentration to figure out what I was doing even though I've done it every single work day for 6 months.
Oh and then I got a note from my brother that Mother is doing good and he has lots to report but wants to wait until he gets to a real keyboard (means he's sending via Treo). Since it was clearly sent from Mom's and I thought he left there yesterday morning, I got really confused. (Turns out they didn't leave for home until noonish today.)
I finally worked my way out of it by about 11:30ish but it was sure a very strange feeling and not a fun one.
But, on the up side, check out this fabulous forecast!
