A bit o' tennis
Jun. 23rd, 2010 01:18 pmIt's just a lovely afternoon here. It's cooled off inside here considerably. The cats are in their fish houses. The laundry is all done. I'll put it all away the next time I get up. I've caught up on bills and emails and some work stuff and now I'm watching a few minutes of the longest tennis match ever at Wimbledon - two guys are 58-59 in the 5th set of a match that started yesterday and was suspended when it got dark and resumed today.
I remember once my Mom was in a tournament and played a match that went on for freakin' ever. She finally won after 38 games in one of the 3 sets. Watching her normal matches tested my patience enough but this one was brutal. I wanted my Mom back.
They are trying to decide whether or not to call the game on account of darkness. Tennis people are so weird.
Yep, there they go. They will pick it up at 59-59 tomorrow.
Wild.
