susandennisSo there's this helicopter hovering outside that has been there for a good 30 minutes now. It's loud but it's not low enough so I could see who's it was. We have a 4 pm (it's 4:30 now) news on the local ABC affiliate and a 24 hour news NBC affiliate but neither of those were showing squat about it.
In the olden days LJ's Seattle community would be all over it and I'd find out there what was going on but, alas, those were the old days.
So finally, I turned to Twitter:
ME: helicopter over pioneer square for the last 15 mins.... what's happen?
in less than a minute:
KIRO7Seattle: @SusanDennis Our chopper is down there -- there is an immigration reform rally in downtown Seattle & it's blocking streets
Channel 7 is our CBS affiliate. How cool is that??!! Plus, they just left so it's now quiet again.
