Bookends

My day started with the note from my brother.... And I just got home to discover that my new Croc had arrived! Already!! Now all I need is one pair of purple (which I don't think they make yet) and I'll be Croc-sated.

It's been a long hard day but good on both ends... Of course there are a few hours left but I have new books from the library and the Mariners are off today so they can't lose and I got a sub sandwich on the way home for dinner... I'm thinking things are under control.

I've been following your Crocs saga and I have to ask: what are they made of? Do you wear them barefoot or with socks? Are they comfortable to walk in all day?

I am a confirmed Birkenstock lover, but these look intriguing.

They are made of a soft kind of rubber stuff. And they are heaven to walk in. I have the world's worst feet. I've never had shoes that I could put on be instantly comfortable. I even wore them on my walk on Sunday!

I'm wearing them without socks now. But, I'll add the socks when it gets cold enough. I cannot imagine ever wearing anything else.

Dude. They do have purple Caymans now, but "in limited quantities" only. I ordered mine online yesterday. Better hurry up before your size is sold out! :)

To date I have:

Pink Beach (bought in local store)
Red Cayman (bought in local store)
Black Metro (ordered from website)
Emerald Highland (ordered from website)

White Cayman (ordered from local store several weeks ago-- not in yet... suffice it to say that's the last time I'm going that route!)

Purple Cayman (on order from website-- should be here w/in a couple weeks, yay!!)

Wow... You are right about the purples but I hate the deal ordering on the crocs website. Fedex is always a problem here at my house and $10 shipping to way 10 days for them not to deliver it just puts me over the edge.

Plus... If a medium in beach is perfect for me, what size Cayman? I'm going to send note to my regular supplier and see if they plan to get the Caymans in anytime soon and if so... (and, why does this, all of a sudden sound like a shady drug deal????

This weekend I'm off to the fabric finishings store for decorations... I 'unbuttoned' the straps and now want to button on some fancy ones...
