Nits and bits

My email is stacking up somewhere over cyberland. My spam filtering service hasn't forwarded any email for more than 12 hours now. But, it's hard to get too worked up.

• In the 10 months I've used them, I only remember about 3 times they even had a problem that I knew about.
• They have one of 'online' chat help things on their website and it worked perfectly. I found out that they have a hardware issue and they had a 'hoped for' ETA of 2 hours to resolution and they were so so so sorry.
• My sister is unable to piss me off via email and she doesn't have my phone number. I'm in a safe zone.

I will be happy when I get my email back, though. I feel the void...

Mom was good this morning. She sounded chipper and on top of things. And it's looking like maybe the 'home' is going to ask us not to come stay with her when she gets back to her apartment. They want to try a new service maybe that won't work so well unless Mom is on her own.

Oh! Email is back!

I bought a new camera today. Casio EX-Z40 Exilim Zoom. It's smaller than my Kodak and uses the same media as my Treo600 (so I can snap a shot and then email it to Buzznet or where ever) and it does movies and a bunch of other stuff.

It is early for lunch but I'm starving... Off to the cafe.

What are you going to be doing with your Kodak now, and if you are interested in getting rid of it, could you please give me some details on it (specs and how much you'd like for it/how much was it when new?)?

I actually hadn't thought about it - probably would post it on ebay for sale so, sure!  If you want it, I'd love for you to have it.

I bought it in March of 2001 and paid $452.75.  They no longer make it but it's a nice little camera.  If it were just a little litter and made movies and used the same smart card as my Treo, I'd keep it.  As it is, it's a bit hard to justify replacing it.  If I put it on ebay, I'd probably make it $150.  Since the listing fee would probably equal the cost of shipping, I'd sell it for $150 total - shipped.

I'd need to hang on to it until my new one comes but after that, it will be ready to leave for a new home.

Well, after much consideration and hmm-hawing, I've decided that I should pass it up for right now. It's a great deal and the camera is nice and all the goodies that come with it...but now's not the right time financially for me to grab it. So...go ahead and ebay it and good luck!
