I've met my match

Ok. Uncle. This camera is way smarter than I am or will ever be. I cannot believe they sell this sucker to just any yahoo that forks over the cash. Whew.

The Mom/sister/social worker festuche is all settled. I got a mea culpa note from the social worker indicating that Mom had given her one of her few remainng pieces of mind. I got a note from my sister that said she talked to Mom and she's not going, Mom is happy, all is fine.

My brother and his wife are dodging the next hurricane by taking off on a sailing adventure. They are paying good money and donating a week of their lives to live in cramped quarters with no shower, marginal toilet facilities, no electricity and zero - read me right here folks - zero access to the internet. They leave home on Sunday. And they are doing this on purpose.

The mind boggles.

But my brother did connect a dot for me today that I had not heard before and am surprised since it now seems so very obvious... All the whining from Florida about all their hurricanes - why them, etc... They could easily find the answer if they would just step back to November (and December) of 2000 and then look and see who we got stuck with for president and who's fault it is?????

Lesson here? I think so.
