My Treo's Fucking with me

susandennisSo I leave work and, as I do every day, on my 10 minute walk to the bus stop, I fire up Treo and download my email. Only today Treo wouldn't fire up. It kept trying to connect, failing and trying again. I rebooted a couple of times. No luck.
I got on the bus and kept trying. It got worse. Treo was rebooting itself and still not connecting. This was getting bad. I figured, when I got to town, if it was still having convulsions, I'd get off and detour by the downtown Sprint store. It got no better. I got off and walked a few blocks to the Sprint store.
Of course, I kitty cornered from the Sprint store, waiting to for the light and the fucking thing downloads my email. Naturally.
So I got into the store and reboot to make sure it will do it twice. It does it three times. The fucker.
And I wander home. I stop in a hair place kind of near here that I've wondered about and ask if they have anyone who could give me a trim. The guy was nice but the place was about 115 degrees. He said someone could do me in about 45 minutes but there was no way I was going to sit there an bake for 45 minues. So I left and stopped to call my regular place and see if they could take me and the freakin' phone wouldn't call!!!
It kept getting hung up. No email and no calling. It was now just not doing anything. I would try to dial and it would said 'dialing' for 5 minutes. So I figured I'd just go back to the Sprint store which was about 1 mile behind me and uphill. So I walked all the way over to the closest bus stop headed back that way - trying it all the way. Of course, when I got to the bus stand, it all of a sudden started calling again.
What in the hell did I ever do to it?? I've treated it nicely, I've sung it's praises, I've bought it software. Does it know that there's an upgrade slated to hit the streets next month?
I turned around and headed home. I did stop off at the regular hair place and made an appointment for 8:45 tomorrow morning. It was their only opening but it suits me fine. I need to go to Costco tomorrow - they timing will be fine - I'll get cut and then just hop in the car and do Costco.
Treo continues to perform flawlessly now. I am mystified.
