susandennisI packed the cr-48 so I fired up my now very rested laptop to use tonight and boy was it ever cranky. Mozy wanted to backup. Microsoft had updates (of course)... everything wanted internet access. And wireless was having none of it.
Wireless was connected but no internet. I plugged in an ethernet cable and got plenty of internet. I firI When I fire up my EVO Hotspot, the machine connects and gets internet with no issues. I tested the work laptop and it's wireless access was working fine and full o' internet.
So, it's just this one machine and just wireless. The troubleshooter says that The DNS server isn't responding. Rebooting the router didn't help. Releasing ipconfig and resetting didn't help. Uninstalling and reBotWhen I fire up my EVO Hotspot, the machine connects and gets internet with no issues.installing the wireless adapter didn't help. Nothing helped.
So it will soon get shut down and shoved under the chair until I get back and can fiddle some more.

I got tired of Oprah a few years ago. I still record her shows but usually only watch about the first 5 minutes before I delete, if that much. But, on her OWN she's doing a weekly show about the shows. Behind the scenes. How they put the Oprah Winfrey Show together. It's fascinating and I now have a new addiction.
However, Comcast, OWN and TiVo are all out of sync. All of the shows on OWN are showing on my TiVo 3 hours earlier than they actually show. So, to record the one I want, I have to go to the website and find out when the show is on and then go to TiVo guide and count back three shows and record that one. It's giving my Now Playing List some weird shit.
Hopefully, they will get it fixed sooner than later.
