Sunday sunday...

susandennisIt's a misty, gray morning and the Seahawkians are gathering outside my terrace. The game is at 1 and it's only now 10 so the crowd is a bit light yet but filling in fast.
My chores are pretty much done. I've got about 2 loads of laundry in the queue but the house is as tidy as it's going to get this weekend anyway.
I got some nice pix on my walk this morning. One of my favorite spots is Waterfall Park. It's about 3 blocks from here. It's a postage stamp sized garden with a waterfall carved into the block surrounded by the old buildings of Pioneer Square. When I got there this morning, the falls weren't falling but just as I was getting ready to snap the change at the bottom of the fountain, someone turned the switch on. Mom's ok, She was chipper this morning but I think she's dropped a few more marbles. She just wasn't connecting the dots in the conversation. I'm getting used to it. She has an appointment with the cardiologist a week from Tuesday. She think's it's day after tomorrow. She's not going to be happy when she realizes she has to wait a week. She's probably going to be even less happy when he tells her that the drugs that are keeping her alive are causing the problem and the trade off isn't that pretty. But, she's focused on a hair appointment that she has tomorrow (or thinks she does) and a manicure she has on Friday.
I watched dr. vegas last night. It's not going to make the cut for me.
