New Plan for the TV
Jan. 19th, 2011 10:09 pmI've calmed down a bit... I think my new plan is to just wait. If this TV dies, then I'll likely buy the same Vizio TV I got only in the 42 inch variety. If this TV doee not die, then I'll be $1,300 richer.
Hey,
qnetter, question about the TV... can you hide the inputs you don't use from the list? That's an awful long list to pound through every time. I would only use four - 2 TiVo's, DVD and TV... but I can't find any documentation on how to hide the others.
About the only thing that I will really miss not having now is that picture in a picture and picture outside a picture... that was so way cool.
Amazon has applied the #30 to my account and initiated the start of a return. The web page says they will call me but also lists a number for me to call which I will do tomorrow.
And, there ends the TV saga of 2011. Or maybe the first TV saga of 2011!
Sigh.

In brighter news, Chef Anita's dinner was beyond amazing. In my fridge were two salad bags. One held the most beautiful Romaine lettuce there ever was. The other bag held a bag of parmesan and a bag of the seasoned croutons she made. The garlic bread (garlic and cheese, actually) was wrapped in foil labeled with cooking directions. And the manacotti. It was all just delicious and I could only eat half so tomorrow's lunch or dinner will boast some delicious leftovers. Yum...
