Nice nice day

machupicchu at The Cheesecake Factory this morning. Penny did NOT wait on us but we both agreed that the guy who did was just cuter than a bug in a rug. We should have wrapped him up and taken him with us. He did get two fat tips - Matthew gave him extra because he was cute. He got my extra because I got two cups of ooffee and an offer for a third. Plus breakfast was actually quite delicious. I need to remember that as a good place to go on Sundays. It doesn't open til 10 but I can work around that.
Then on to the movies where we saw Company Man. I thought it was just excellent. Really engaging. Matthew will have his review up atcinema_holic momentarily, I'm sure.
Then we walked uphill - I mean a serious - for me - hill up up up and over over over... I got a nice gym workout in - to a pie shop and had a piece of pie and I got a pasty for dinner. Nice and delicious. And then I hopped a bus for home and Matthew walked the two blocks to his house. Nice nice way to spend a day.
I got home and checked LJ and started this entry then got a tweet fromspiritgirl noting that I had been gone all day with no updates and she was jonsing for news... Cracked me up. I like being missed.
I turned on the TV, when I got in, to The Front Door TV Network. Just now I glanced up and thought "wow, that's a great picture!!" Gratifying.
Travis and Betty are chasing the laser so I can have the keyboard sans cat feet. I just read about one of my LJ friends who broke a cap on her tooth this weekend. She has the same dental phobia that I have and I so feel for her. However, reading the entry, gave me pause to spend a quality moment being grateful that my teeth, for right now, are fine and - actually - so is everything else. I am very lucky.
