A new and so far way better day

susandennisThey finally found the birds nest in the server or whateverthefuck has been hosing up the system we have to work on and this morning, for the first time in several weeks, it's actually workable. I got more done from 6-8 am this morning than I did all of yesterday. And, that alone, has improved my mood considerably.
That I have tomorrow off does not hurt it one bit either.
There is still a major work irritation in the form of a person but I am going to rise above that. I am taking joy in deleting her emails without responding. It's the little things.
I'm waiting now for a piece of work that needs to go live in an hour and a half... they'd better get their shit together and send it to me cause I can't publish thin air...
I love my new webcam. It's not ugly on the desk. It has a great picture but mostly I love the software and setup that Axis provides. It's good and designed for me - the lowest common denominator. Thee are still some things I need to tweak - like getting it its own static IP address. I tried it last night and totally fucked everything up. I also love how very easily they make it to go back to factory default and start again which is exactly what I did.
While I had it fucked up last night, I discovered quite by accident that my wireless printer information (ink levels, etc) from a web page. Which make sense but I never knew that. It was showing up instead of the webcam for a bit. I want to explore how I can set stuff up to have both.
Edit about 10 mins later [doh, looked at router info, found ip address of printer, plugged that in and wow... I got just what I was looking for (and never knew was there) and lots more. Kewel!]
