Today started at 5:45 and was about half so frustrating that I wanted to take someone out and half, FINALLY, some sanity, some relief. It went back and forth between the two all day. Whew.
I have tomorrow off and no more days off until a week from Friday.

I do not like Diane Sawyer at all. She's a columnist masquerading as a news reporter. If she would only pretend to keep her opinions to herself, I'd be happy but she just slaps you across the face with them. I just watched her Nightline interview with Rumsfeld. Prior to my watching that, if you had told me that I would ever take Rumsfeld's side on anything or feel any sympathy or defend him in any way, I would have recommended you for waterboarding. However, old Diane pulled it off. By the end, I was totally on his side and thinking up tortures for her.
Whew, it appears perhaps I have some pent up tension? anger? hmmmmm

Tomorrow is viewing day. My neighbors, Ann and Ron, do not have anything with which to record TV shows. And they cannot stay up past 9:30 p.m. And they really really really wanted to see Barbra Walter's Heart special from last Friday night, so I recorded it on my TiVo and they are coming over tomorrow afternoon to watch it. I must remember to remind them to bundle up. They are from Southern California and think this place is a meat locker.
Then tomorrow evening I am going to meet
machupicchu for a showing of Cedar Rapids. Out at night on a school night, I am sooo frisky.
---
Tonight I am having the very last of my Chef Anita dinners. Walnut encrusted pork chop with rosemary potatoes. Her next appearance in my kitchen will be one week from today and not a minute too soon. We may have to work out a more often arrangement.

And that's all I got for now.
