Bear timing
Feb. 12th, 2011 05:00 pmI'm asked not infrequently 'how long does it take you to knit a bear?' I usually say 3 or 4 hours. But I've never actually timed one... until now.
I just timed the last one. It took me just under 6 hours from picking up the needles to start and putting the finished dude on the green chair.
Both legs (knit simultaneously) toes to crotch takes 1 hour.
Crotch to head, 1.5.
Head 1 hour.
Arms 1.25
Ears, face and necktie 1.25.
Interesting.
