Another whew day but all good
Feb. 15th, 2011 03:43 pmToday was another very early start with a very full day, work day plus Chef Anita was here. She is gone and the work day is over and Whew.
In the last two days, some process decisions were dictated on my work project that I honestly think will put a muzzle on The Irritating one. They will, at least, prevent her from being more Irritating. I no longer feel like she thinks she's the boss of me. And it feels great. In two short days, the project feels like it has totally reverted back to the fun project it used to be.
On the down side, it sounds like my 3 day weeks don't have much of a future. Poop.

Chef Anita did her magic once again. The house smells heavenly. I actually don't even know what's for dinner. I told her to pick something and leave it in the fridge.
And we discussed schedule. For now, we established the next cook date of March 3. Today, she made:
PLUS she made me two pie shells for quiches (and some quiche goodies from leftovers)
And another wonderful salad dressing
We even settled on the March 3 menu! Happy camper here.

I paid my county taxes this morning. The value of my house went down so far that even though they raised the tax percentage, my actual payment is %10 less than last year! Nice. Next big bill is the income tax. I have no clue how big a whopper that is going to be. I set aside money for the big bills that land here at the first of the year. Once the income tax bill is paid then I can consider the rest of that cash mine to play with.

I'm working tomorrow because my co-worker who normally is me on my days off, is out of town. She'll be back in the saddle on Friday (I sure hope). So now is my playtime and I need to get on it!
