susandennisYes, I am venturing out. I have a 1 hour meeting in Redmond. This will take me probably 3.5 hours. If I drove, it would probably be much longer and expensive because I would stop on the way and on the way back to shop for stuff I don't need. I hate to drive. So I'm taking the bus. I have to pack up my computer, make user I have all the stuff I need with me, hike up to the bus stop, wait for the bus, get there and either hike to the building or track down a shuttle. Meet. And do it all in reverse. I really don't mind but it seems like such a waste of time.
I just went out to deliver the bears. I do that in the car because it's easier and faster. And, it's raining so I was hoping for a free car wash, but, alas, it wasn't raining fast or hard enough.
I have determined that the north Qwest Field construction is not happening. I think they are just using the lot as a staging area for some of the crap they are using to tear down the viaduct and build the stupid tunnel. Not even moderately interesting to watch. (The viaduct and other work is on the other side of this building. I can't see any of it from my unit.)
I have about 20 minutes to kill... Such a waste.
