susandennisSomeone left two bags of catnip, pot or oregano at my door. I thinking the lack of scent (plus no wrapping papers) puts it in the catnip category but who knows. Neither of my cats is very interested in catnip. But it was nice of some neighbor to think of them.

I keep thinking that I should finally lock down my network. I hate to do it because 1. I love the concept of an open network and 2. It's a pain in the ass to lock it down and then go around to:
the tv
2 Tivos
iPad
cr-48
phone
1 laptops
1 printer
And enter in the password. Plus the last time I tried this, I had half the users and it was a giant headache. I check the list of wireless hookers on frequently and never see anything but my own mac addresses, but ... I saw a news report about a guy in a high rise condo in Miami who had an unsecured wireless network that got used by porn dealers (pringle can antenna from 2 blocks away) and the feds came after the wireless network owner. However, now I cannot find the story so maybe I invented it.
I'm only going to think about it now. I want it all to work fine like it is now for a week or two before I start fucking with it.

The Mariners have been winning a freaky number of Spring Training games (keep in mind the Mariners winning more than one game moves them into the freaky category). The first televised game is next Wednesday. TiVo has been alerted and I am ready.
