Cardio and calories

I walked down to the market today for brunch. It was nice and cool and rainy. I walked under the viaduct and stayed dry. I am so going to miss that when they tear it down. It's nice in the rain but it's even nicer for shade when the sun is out. Sigh.

It was nearly dark between the gray of the rain and the early hour. I was the first and only customer until I was about ready to leave. I ate at Seatown which is quickly becoming a favorite spot. They have a newspaper for me. Good coffee in a carafe at the table. Outstanding service and a quite tasty menu.

This morning, for the first time, I used their restroom. They have two - unisex. I so approve. The one I used was also very pretty. This was part of the art on the walls.

Coming home I walked down first ave in the rain. It was nice and kept me cool. I got pretty soaked but I know, from experience, that I will dry out.

Time now to get a little work done. Oh and laundry.
