Buzy Monday

susandennisI feel like I was run run run run all day today. I would finish up one thing and there would be another. I'd finish it and here comes one more... all day long. Just now the bug database shut me out which it is wont to do now and again and that was all the incentive I needed to hit the stop button. It will all be there tomorrow.
My Twitter feed is full of South by Southwest tweets. My podcasts are all from Austin this week. As excited and engaged as I get with CES, South by Southwest leaves me just the opposite. I cannot imagine anything less fun that navigating downtown Austin with no parking banging from one cruddy beer joint to another, listening to loud music. It's not my thing on just about every single level.
This DST thing is throwing me off more than usual this year. I usually adjust fairly well but this year, it's just been one thing after another. I try not to get too cranky about it - what's the use.
The Mariners won again today! I'm beginning to see this year clearly... This will be the year they win more games in Spring Training than they do in the regular season. I bought tickets the other day - holy crap are they expensive. Best available for 3 tickets on a Friday night $213. And the seats aren't that good. And that's before hotdogs.
Good thing I'm not a fan of actually going to the games. I much prefer to watch them on TV. But, my friends from New Zealand want to go so what the heck.
Beef strog for dinner. Yum. And then an evening of junk TV and bear making.
