susandennisI'm taking another break. My neighbor, Ron, sent his 3 year old Vista laptop to my brother to scrub. It was slow as a dog due to not enough memory, way too much clicking on shit and installing whatever anybody told him to, plus just general floatsum and jetsum of 3 years of computering. Amy got it in the shop and scrubbed it squeaky clean and added some memory and the old dog just came back to life.
But he didn't want to print. So I went down there and talked the old Lexmark printer into behaving and now everyone is happy. Ron has his toy back. Ann has quiet time to read a book or watch whatever she wants to watch on TV without having to answer questions or entertain Ron. Everyone is happy.
I think I'll just go ahead and have some dinner before I get back to work. I spent so much of today answering emails and IM questions that I didn't get much work work done. Tomorrow afternoon and Sunday, however, I plan to burn some work rubber.
Oh I did manage to do a load of laundry today so maybe I'll go fold before dinner.
When there is a huge project with non-stop work to do, this journal veers a hair off interesting... I do compose some interesting entries in my head, they just never get to my fingertips. Hmmmmm
