Nice weekend ahead
Mar. 26th, 2011 07:00 amToday is work, Costco, work, haircut, work...I am out of those delicious crack like CheeseCrisps. Happily, Costco is just down the street and opens at 9:30 so I plan to be there to open the doors, score my drugs and be back home before anyone misses me.
Then at 11:45, I have an appointment to get my haircut. It's far enough away from here that walking there and back will serve as my gym for the day.
The baseball game is on the radio this afternoon. And, actually, every day from now until the season starts. I've enjoyed the spring training games this year, here's hoping the season does not suck.
Chef Anita isn't coming again for 2 weeks. I have a week of her food in the freezer and maybe a half a week to a week of other. I could squeeze by without even going to the grocery store (once I get my crisps). Nice.
Work is decidedly less stressful. My team has been flushed out and everyone on it now is with the program and 'gets' what has to be done and how to do it which is such a relief. I can look at the bug queue without reaching for the razor to slit my wrists.
So this morning, for the first time in a while, I really feel rested, not frantic and not overwhelmed. It's nice. I might even take some time off and do a Sunday brunch walk tomorrow. Maybe to the Georgian Room and see if their new kitchen is back up and running again.
