Ok, enough of this!

After writing last week about what a good sleeper I am, I hit a rare total fail last night. My leg was killing me and the pain kept me awake for hours. I finally got up and wrapped it in ice and that did the trick for sleep. But, really. This morning, it seemed better until I strapped on my shoes to go to the gym. Walking to the front door seemed to bring on the little stabs of pain so I walked around the condo until I was sure that walking was doing it.
No gym for me. Clearly I did something nasty to my shin when I fell. The scraped skin is healing already but inside there, I pissed something off. It is kind of a intermittent pain weird but stabbing when it hits. And now, having walked around some, it is less intermittent and more all mittent all the time. So I think I'll just get some more ice and give it a chill. Plus I took one of the indomethacin that I have for gout. In hopes it will fix it. It's very localized - one large spot just below my knee on one side of my leg.
I am very tired of hurting. My head, however, is healing nicely. I just need the rest of me to follow suit. And I need no more incidents of any kind.
Happily, I have an interesting little work project this morning that is keeping my mind and fingers occupied.
