Dear 1-800-Contacts,

You guys are just simply the best...

I have said it before but it bears repeating. I have been a customer since 2000. Different doctors, different prescriptions, sometimes no orders at all because I didn't wear any contacts. But every single interaction with them is stellar.

Their website could not be more easy to use. I think my cat, Travis could order from it successfully, I know Betty, the smart cat could. I never have to go digging for a password I forgot or credentials that are overly precious 'to protect me'. I log in and my entire order history is 2 clicks away.

I think the first time I ordered from them it was because their price was good. But, honestly, their customer service is so amazing that I pay whatever it is they want to charge and am happy to do it. They are not a preferred provider of my insurance so I have to fill out a form and mail it in. I am happy to do this. Small price to pay.

They have always offered to exchange any unused lenses (even a partial box) when my prescription changes. I've used this a couple of times and they make it excruciatingly easy.

Now I no longer need any contact lenses and have 2.5 boxes on hand. I went to their website and filled out the contact us form asking if there was any chance I could return them for a refund. I assumed there was not.

The send key was hardly cold when a reply popped into my email from Jordon who said that they stand by their 100% customer satisfaction and would be happy to provide returns for refund. The note asked me for 4 pieces of info (address, number of boxes, etc). I sent. And just now, as I'm typing this, I get an email from Jon saying that he is sending me a postage paid label for me to use to return the contacts. When they get them back they will send me a refund of $161.47.

I wish they would keep their contact lens business (chances are very good I will need it again one day) and open up a Customer Service University. Seriously. No one else even comes close.

I very much heart you, 1-800-Contacts and look forward to being your happy, valued and 100% satisfied customer again one day.
