susandennisIt has been an ok day. Not a great day. Not a shit day. Just an ok day.
My leg that is still healing is no longer numb. It hurts like a regular bruise when you poke it. So, I don't poke it. My ankle is the same way and Travis still manages to find that one spot 12 times a day. But, even it is getting better. I no longer screech when he lands on it.
My ottoman/bed that I ordered more than a week ago is in limbo. It's paid for but it has not shipped. I called today and was told there was an issue and they were investigating and I should call back Wednesday. I do not have a good feeling about this. Glad I don't need it immediately.
I finally figured out my regular cellphone charges. I had to wait for two billing cycles to confirm what I suspected. The two of them together are not, of course, quite the deal that the little Sprint lady made them out to be. But, the total dollars, sans the landline, aren't as bad I thought they would be so ok. I do like having the solid backup and two good phones at the ready. Plus, it will be an easy first contender if I need to start slashing expenses for some reason.
And speaking of frivolous spending, I reserved my hotel room at the MGM Grand for CES next January. Southwest still does not have that week open for booking yet so no flight but I got a place to sleep. Oh and while the CES site is how you get to hotel reservations (if you go to the MGM Grand website they show no rooms available for that week), CES itself is not yet open for registration... hmmmm
Work was ok today. I got a fair amount done. And there's some left for tomorrow.
Ballgame tonight Oh and I need to watch the rest of the Tony's - I watched about the first half last night, but I need to do the rest. Think I'll just do that now while I put ears on this bear.
