On the up side...
Nov. 1st, 2004 12:34 pmAfter weeks and weeks of forgetting to call the new person at the AIDS hospice to see if she wanted my afghans, this weekend, I took a shot at what her email address might be and fired off a note.
I really want her to want them because the place is semi easy to get to and has parking and I can just drop off the afghans nearly any time I want BUT mainly, I really want to give them to AIDS patients. I know the homeless need blankets and I know small children love soft knitted stuff but I want my blankets to make the day brighter or warmer for someone with AIDS. I just do. And I am way too lazy to figure out another as easy way to do it.
Lucky me. I just got a very delightful email from her saying that she would LOVE to have my afghans. She'd be delighted. Thank you, thank you.
No... Thank YOU!
I've got 3 to drop off probably Friday. Whew.
