Dropsey day
Jun. 24th, 2011 07:38 pmThis morning, I almost dropped a travel mug full of coffee all over my upholstered chair and ottoman and knitting basket. As it was I caught it but did manage to splash some coffee into the basket. Fortunately, the coffee was black (no cream) and I got it out without harm.
After dinner, I upended a full travel much of iced tea on the living room carpet and my pants.
Just now I was transferring some stuff from the counter to the fridge when one glass container left my hands and exploded on the kitchen floor... One of the items in my hand was a glass container of Chef Anita's heavenly salad dressing - I was soooo afraid that's what I had dropped but when I looked I saw it was just a small container of mayonnaise. WHEW. (If they would make mayonnaise containers that you could get the last of the mayo out of, I would not have to resort to my own glass containers.)
Since bad stuff happens in 3's - since it's the law, I feel very safe for the rest of the day!

And, in a totally unrelated note, the Mariners are playing Florida at Safeco Field BUT Marlins are the home team. Apparently U2 convinced them financially to move their home game away from their concert. So we have the rare National League game in our home park. Really interesting. Also the Marlins are having a horrible year so maybe we can win a game.
