I went to Costo and I spent $16.41 - is that a record?

I was sitting here working away and all of a sudden I became aware that there was no longer any crowd noise outside... I looked out the terrace and all the streets around were still closed but there were no people left... score!

So I went to Goodwill and unloaded the truck and went to Costco. Turns out, all the people were at Costco. Holy crap. If you weren't there, you were the only one. But, all I really wanted to do was look at the mattresses. And I did and... I'm over my new mattress jones!! And it cost me nothing! Yahoo!

I may still get one eventually and now I know how they are packaged and that I might be able to get one home in my car - except the store didn't have any double/full ones. But, I can wait until my current mattress totally gives up or these go drastically on sale. Meanwhile my itch is scratched.

I did pick up some flowers. The lines were long but I was in the zen of it checking out all the peops and all the stuff they bought - it was pretty fun.

Home again - zero traffic issues - no street parking allowed and some streets still closed. Perfection.

I put the flowers in a vase and tried to arrange them but I suck at it. Where are the gays when you need them? Off getting married, I suppose. Sigh.
